Finally got back into the studio today - thank goodness! I started this painting just before Christmas and completed the water and foreground grasses this morning. It's another gouache painting on Arches (NOT) watercolour paper, mounted on a wood panel.
I'm really enjoying the versitility of these gouache paints - they can be applied in much the same way as acrylic but with a more watercolour like feel and flow. I still love my watercolours but I'm definitely going to keep using gouache too :)
