Bolehill, November ; (Peak District)

Bolehill, November
8" x 10"
Pastel
OK, back to reality. In any case, the autumn is prettier to paint in many ways. I love the way the greens change; pale olives and warm yellows. And the ground texture is so crunchy. Ideal for pastels!

I love this one Theresa - and I don't know Bolehill but assume it is around these parts somewhere! Your composition is wonderful, taking us into a journey into the painting. And the colours so beautiful.

Thanks Sheila, for your generous comments.

It's actually an area called Bolehill Clough which is N.E. of Chapel-en-le-Frith (off Rushup Edge).

I love that area ... very picturesque.
